Flowserve Corp. recently announced the signing of a sole source agreement with Shell. According to this Enterprise Framework Agreement, Flowserve has been selected as the sole source provider for general service control valves covering upstream and downstream operations for both capital projects and maintenance, repair and operations services. While no financial terms were announced, the agreement is for five years with an option for an additional five years. Shell selects enterprise suppliers based on the quality of the equipment, equipment standardization, pricing and the ability to meet project delivery timelines.
