Flomatic new Ward Check Valve sizes for CPI

Flomatic Corporation of Glen Falls, New York, recently introduced new sizes to their Model 816 Ward Check valves and Model 16 Ward Strainer line-up. Available in ASTM 316 stainless steel or other materials like WCB Steel, Alloy 20, Monel or Hastelloy C, the Model 816 and 816FL check valves, and Model 16 and 16FL Strainer are now available in ¼” – 2” threaded and 1” – 2” ANSI 150 Class flanged.

The Ward Valve is widely specified and used by chemical processing industries (CPI), beverage, food, water and heating sectors. These valves feature the patented Sealing System: the sealing plunger features an angled elastomer disk totally encapsulated in Teflon®, which protects the seal from the conveyed medium. This design produces positive shut-off at both low and high back pressure, rated 150 W.S.P up to 450 degrees F.
