Figure 860 safety relief valve

Spence Engineering Co. Inc., Walden, New York, has introduced the Figure 860 safety relief valve, made of 316 stainless steel. The Figure 860 meets ASME Section VIII for liquid, steam and air & gas services, and features quick opening and short reclosing pressures while incorporating a fixed ring design that reduces maintenance costs and provides longer life. A soft seat option provides tighter shut-off for those applications when the operating pressure is close to set pressure of the valve. The Figure 860 is available in pressures to 900psig and temperatures to 422°F and is also suitable forcryogenic application down to –400°F.
