Fieldbus comms increase pneumatic valve performanc

Parker Hannifin recently introduced a new Isys Micro valve adaptor to connect the advanced Turck BL67 System. The new combination of the ISsys Micro valve and Turck BL67 System is quick and simple to use, making it easy for OEMs and end users to set up and reconfigure a wide range of automation and pneumatically controlled systems, while reducing machine costs and installation times.
The design of the Isys Micro valves is modular, enabling centralised or decentralised valve islands to be constructed quickly, with back-to-back plug-in connectivity with high flow rates and a long operating life in excess of 50 million cycles.
The TURCK BL67 system is supplied with free PACTware software which makes on or off-line configuration easy. It also provides connection to DeviceNet, CANopen, Profibus DP, Profinet IO, Ethernet/IP and Modbus/TCP.
Other features include parameter-level explicit messaging, short circuit detection with electronic feedback and the option of horizontal or vertical mounting without the need for re-rating. The Turck BL67 System offers a robust and reliable valve control solution designed to meet the demands of a wide range of industrial applications.
