Festo valves at the 2015 Chem Show

Festo is showcasing its new pre-engineered automated valve assemblies at the 2015 Chem Show in New York. These assemblies feature a ball valve integrated with sensor box, Namur valve, actuator, and positioner. These packaged solutions meet the internationally recognized SIL 4 standard for emergency shutdown operation. These assemblies have NEC500, ATEX, and IECEx certifications for hazardous environments along with a host of new options. The units are globally supported by Festo.

Festo is also introducing to the North American chemical industry a new Chemical Valve Technology (CVT) range of solenoid valves, now available following the Festo acquisition of Seitz in 2014. The solenoid valves are designed to meet the highest international safety standards for emergency shutdown (ESD) applications. These proven units, designed and manufactured in Germany, are now in use as control valves in the production facilities of leading chemical, petrochemical, consumer products, and pharmaceutical companies worldwide. The new CVT line includes direct-acting and pilot-operated solenoid valves and, like the ball valve assemblies, are globally supported by Festo.
