Festo opens logistics & assembly plant in Ohio

Festo US Corporation, a leading supplier of pneumatic and electrical automation technology for a variety of industries, including the food & beverage industry, recently opened a logistics and assembly plant in Mason, Ohio, near Cincinnati. The aim of opening the new plant is to provide customers in North and South America with a faster and more efficient support system.

The facility also allows for customized product manufacturing. Examples of customer-specific assemblies are components based on drawings, equipping of valve terminals, cylinder/valve combinations, valve manifolds, semi-rotary drives with ball valve and sensor box, adjustment of pressure switches according to specifications, made-to-measure cylinders or simple complete solutions.
