Festo Introduces New Configurators for Process Valves and Quarter Turn Actuators

The configurators for process valve and quarter turn actuator units from Festo make it easier for system planners to find the optimal solution. Simply select a few parameters and the configurators will suggest appropriate combinations, making engineering in the process industry fast, reliable and easy with coordinated and ready-to-install solutions.

The configurators for butterfly valve units (KVZA), ball valve units (KVZB) and quarter turn actuator units (KDFP) greatly simplify engineering and procurement processes. The tools ensure quick and successful project management by taking all relevant factors into account: from the initial product search, configuration, sizing and documentation right through to ordering and delivery of the ready-to-install process valve or quarter turn actuator unit – everything is combined in the tools, including customer-specific requests.

All components, from ball valves, butterfly valves, quarter turn actuators, pilot valves and limit switch boxes to positioners, adapter kits and hand levers, are from a single source and are perfectly matched and pre-assembled. From the simple manually actuated combination, the unit with pilot valve and limit switch box to the unit with positioner, this can give a complete solution depending on requirements. The user simply chooses the required parameters in the configurator’s input menu and the configurator suggests the right solutions. Alternatively it is also possible to select a straight actuator unit without process valve for automating existing process valves.
