FERC allows Sabine Pass to begin Train 3 service

The US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has granted authorization for Sabine Pass Liquefaction LLC and Sabine Pass LNG L.P. to commence service for liquefaction and export activities from Train 3 inside battery limits, Train 3 heavies removal unit and Stage 2 outside battery limits.

The Commission claims that Sabine Pass has demonstrated that these facilities have been built in accordance with Commission approval and applicable standards and can be expected to operate safely as designed.

Furthermore,

FERC claims that, based on staff inspections, project areas within the terminal have proven to have been satisfactorily stabilised and are in compliance with the terms of both the April and August orders.
