Emerson has released its Movicon NExT.Version 4.4, a human-machine interface (HMI) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) platform. It allows users to create interoperable automation architectures for discrete and process manufacturing applications in the commercial, industrial, and municipal/utility industries.
Additionally, the system delivers enhancements to boost functionality, performance, and flexibility, and provides emphasis on user-centric improvements, thus maximizing development efficiency.
Among many further benefits, the industrial communication protocol drivers — for OPC UA, EtherNet/IP — offer support for multi-station and advanced arrays, while a new DNP3 driver enables seamless integration within power industry and electrical utility networks.
