Emerson planning $500K expansion

The Sherman Economic Development Corp. (SEDCO) recently approved a USD $150,000 grant for Emerson Process Management, based in Sherman, Texas, because of its plan to hire new employees and bring in USD $500,000 in new equipment.

“We have a relatively new Fisher product that will be relocating from an existing facility that is a better business fit with the control valve family that we currently produce in our Sherman facility,” Emerson Plant Manager Mark Anderson said of the company’s Fisher line of products.

SEDCO President John Plotnik said the USD $150,000 grant will be awarded in three USD $50,000 payments for 30 new jobs to be created between September 30th and March 31st, 2018.
