Emerson new chilled water cooling systems

Emerson Network Power, a business of Ohio-based Emerson and a leading provider of automation technology, including valves, recently introduced a high-capacity models to its Liebert CW line of chilled water cooling systems for data centers. The new model provides energy efficiency improvement up to 25 percent through the use of new technologies, including valve auto-tuning controls and optimized coil designs that better utilize higher entering water temperatures. For a 5-megawatt data center, that can mean around USD $150,000 in annual energy savings, compared to using a larger number of smaller cooling units to achieve the same capacity.
