Emerson Enhances Optimization with New AspenTech Software

Emerson has released flagship software for its Aspen Technology business. Version 15 is designed to expand industrial AI capabilities to accelerate progress toward sustainability goals and operational performance.

Version 15 highlights generative AI (GenAI) to create a more seamless and efficient user experience with streamlined integrations, enhanced visualizations and simplified workflows. It includes more than 175 sample models supporting sustainability-driven use cases, allowing users to make progress toward decarbonization and resource efficiency goals.

It also allows subsurface science and engineering customers to break down silos and accelerate decision-making with AspenTech Subsurface Intelligence™ Beta. This is a cloud-native environment with AI-enhanced workflows and an intuitive user experience across all disciplines.

Additionally, Version 15 includes AspenTech Cimphony Network Model Management in the Digital Grid Management suite. According to the company, this enables utility customers to efficiently manage power system models with a data-driven network model manager, providing a persistent data storage layer for model-driven data, including the Common Information Model (CIM).

Added features include the ability to streamline customer-utility interactions through the AspenTech Grid Apps web-based platform and AspenTech Inmation that can unlock online model deployment for Aspen Plus® and Aspen HYSYS.
