Emerson introduces the Ovation AI-enabled Virtual Advisor, the first generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) advisor integrated into an automation system.
The advisor, designed for the power and water industries, is part of Emerson’s Ovation 4.0 Automation Platform. Among many benefits, the advisor delivers real-time insights, detects anomalies, forecasts maintenance issues and empowers strategic decision-making.
The Ovation Virtual Advisor embeds localized GenAI to provide dynamic system guidance and contextual support. This helps users gain access to Ovation system documentation, perform troubleshooting, proactively address maintenance issues and uncover optimization opportunities.
Part of a growing suite of AI-based tools, the 4.0 platform is compatible with future AI-powered platforms and/or new system upgrade projects.
