Emerson has announced the recipients of the ASCO 2017 Engineering Scholarship: Alexandra Lomasney of Peabody, Massachusetts and Richard Hollenbach III of Hatfield, Pennsylvania have each been awarded a USD $5,000 scholarship to support their pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Lomasney is a senior, studying for a chemical engineering degree, at Villanova University. Hollenbach, also a senior, is majoring in mechanical engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. Emerson will further support the recipients’ studies with an additional USD $1,000 grant to the engineering departments at each of their respective universities.
The ASCO 2017 Engineering Scholarship program, now in its 10th year, has awarded a total of USD $100,000 in merit-based scholarships to 20 students, based on their potential for leadership and for making a significant contribution to the industrial automation engineering profession.
