Driv Releases Damping Valve for Automotive Applications

Driv Inc.’s new range of highly tunable add-on valves for automotive OEMs feature stroke-dependent dampening (SDD) valve technology to improve the performance of passive dampers.

Driv’s Monroe RideRefine SDD valve works with the main valve in a passive damper. Hydraulic fluid is fed to the add-on valve via a bypass from the main valve. The small valve suppresses vibrations and harshness with a small tunable stroke. The main valve takes over when limitations of the Monroe RideRefine SDD valve have been breached.
