Danfoss Launches a New Tight Oil-Free Shut-Off Ball Valve

Danfoss is expanding its EXO – Extended Oil-Free program with the launch of the OFB range. The series is an oil-free shut-off ball valve engineered for oil-free chillers and heat pumps featuring Turbocor® compressors.

The OFB line efficiently brings a new level of protection to oil-free systems particularly when installed for data centers and advanced HVAC installations. It’s designed to elevate suction-side reliability and introduces a Three-in-One functional design. According to Danfoss, it provides a suction-cone transition, a tight shut-off isolation valve, and full motorization capabilities.

The new OFB series is built as a fully modular range compatible with all Danfoss Turbocor® TGx and TTx compressors. With 12 inlet flange options (3”, 4”, and 5”), the valve fits new and existing systems. It also supports multiple global connection standards, including ANSI, ASTM, DIN, and EN. The robust design withstands operating temperatures from -40 °F to +212°F, ensuring reliable performance across diverse climates and applications.
