Danfoss develops valve assemblies for larger plant

Danfoss a manufacturer of high-efficiency electronic and mechanical components and controls, whose North American headquarters are located in Maryland, has developed Hero Plant, a pre-fabricated flushing bypass arrangement for larger plant items such as air-handling units, heat exchangers and heater batteries.

Hero Plant combines isolation, drain strain and flushing bypass assembly with Danfoss’s AB-QM pressure-independent control to create a ready-to-install solution that aims to save time on site and eliminates the need for hot works.

Available in sizes DN15 to DN150, Hero Plant is factory built and supplied pressure tested to the Pressure Equipment Directive standard. Hero plant can be fitted with a variety of Danfoss actuators to enable connection to a BMS (Business Management System) or other controller.
