Danfoss Automatic Controls extended its portfolio of high-pressure components earlier this year with the bi-flow GBC ball valves with and without access port and large sizes 28–42s. Danfoss’ range of high-pressure ball valves and check valves improves the robustness of refrigeration systems using CO2 and makes servicing easier.
The new series of valves have now been tested in the field for over 2 years to withstand high working pressures and remain leak-tight under harsh conditions. The standstill-capable valves with 90 bar maximum working pressure allow for system service and complete system shutdown without blowing the charge. The large ball valves are the newest addition to the Danfoss series of standstill capable and transcritical components, compatible with the award-winning line of Danfoss ADAP-KOOL controls.
