Curtiss-Wright Opens Manufacturing Facility in TX

Curtiss-Wright Corp recently celebrated the grand opening of its $36 million, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Chambers County, TX. At this new facility, the company will manufacture large vessels and other equipment for the refining and petrochemical industries and will produce large valve products for the severe service process industries.
Curtiss-Wright began construction of the new facility, operated by the company’s Flow Control segment, in September 2010 and completed it on time and on budget. The facility covers over 12 acres of property and includes 118,000 sq/ft of manufacturing space. Key features include one of the largest, fully enclosed blasting and paint facilities in the U.S., refractory installation, superior material handling and convenient barge transportation. Curtiss-Wright is the single source provider of a turnkey package of slide valves, actuators, power skid units, field service, Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) equipment, reactors and large diameter pressure vessels.
