Curtiss-Wright Corporation recently announced Lynn M. Bamford and Kevin M. Rayment have been promoted to the position of Segment President. Bamford has been named President of the Defense and Power Segments, while Rayment has been named President of the Commercial/Industrial Segment. Each will report directly to David Adams, Chairman and CEO of Curtiss-Wright Corporation.
Bamford has more than 30 years of experience across the defense, aerospace and commercial industries. Bamford holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University. She joined Curtiss-Wright in 2004 with its acquisition of Dy4, a leading provider of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) embedded computing solutions, where she held several engineering and leadership positions. Bamford ascended to Vice President and General Manager of the Company’s Embedded Computing business, before being named to lead the Defense Solutions division in 2013.
Rayment has more than 30 years of experience across the commercial, general industrial, aerospace, nuclear and defense industries. Rayment holds a BEng (Hons) Electrical & Electronics Engineering Degree from Portsmouth University and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Bournemouth University. He joined Curtiss-Wright’s UK-based Penny & Giles business in 2004, which Curtiss-Wright had acquired in 2002, and initially held the position of Technical and Sales Director, before eventually becoming Vice President and General Manager of the Company’s Avionics & Industrial business, before he was named to lead the Industrial division in 2013.
