CORE Industrial Partners, a manufacturing, industrial technology, and industrial services-focused private equity firm, has announced its completion of the investment in Edwards Moving & Rigging, a provider of heavy hauling and rigging services to power generation, manufacturing, infrastructure/construction, and other end markets.
Edwards, headquartered in Shelbyville, Kentucky, has five operating facilities in Kentucky, South Carolina, Florida, Ohio, and Illinois. It provides heavy hauling and rigging services to various end markets, specializes in super-heavy and oversized loads, and offers turnkey project management and engineering solutions to multiple value-chain participants — including OEMs, freight forwarders, utility providers, and manufacturers.
The investment furthers CORE’s ambition in investing in industrial companies to leverage operating experience, executing against a diverse set of value creation initiatives and growth avenues.
