Construction of valve manufacture & repair facilit

Watson Grinding & Manufacturing and Watson Valve Services have begun construction of a 19,000ft2 valve repair and manufacture facility. Soon the campus will span several city blocks and encompass more than five buildings with over 84,000ft2 in all.
 
Watson Grinding & Manufacturing is a full-scale machine shop offering specialty carbide and ceramic thermal spray coatings via HVOF and Plasma application. They manufacture and service a wide variety of parts, including shafts, valves, rotating and pump components, and specialize in turning and milling exotic alloys, hard metals and large parts. The construction of this facility is part of their strategic investments for technical innovations to enhance their capabilities. They have also recently added a robotic thermal spray facility and an on-site metallurgical laboratory for precise application of thermal spray coatings that are capable of extending the service life of parts in highly corrosive or wear intensive environments.
