Citgo to start refinery rehabilitation in Aruba

Citgo Petroleum plans to start a rehabilitation project at the 235,000-barrel-per-day Aruba refinery in August, after an agreement to operate the facility was reached last month with the government, according to the island’s Labor Minister, Paul Croes.

In a recent statement, Croes added, “The rehabilitation will start on August 1st for an 18-month period approximately.” A second phase would follow for a further 12 months, to complete the project.
