CIRCOR Aerospace expands MRO valve operations

CIRCOR Aerospace Inc., manufacturers of fluidic control, actuation and electro-mechanical products for aerospace and defense applications – including control valves and regulators – has committed to growing its Maintenance, Overhaul and Repair (MRO) business. It plans to accomplish this by increasing dedicated factory space with an emphasis on developing MRO speed and efficiency with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) quality and engineering.

CIRCOR Aerospace’s certified repair station at its Corona, California facility has already increased the square footage of dedicated, exclusive space for MRO by 30 percent during 2015. Expansion plans for 2016 include 50 percent more square footage, which will result in a dramatic increase in capacity for galley/lavatory, fuel, hydraulic and pneumatic system valve operations. Housed within a 100,000 square foot OEM facility, CIRCOR’s MRO business includes in-house non-destructive testing and chemical processing.

Parent company CIRCOR International, Inc. is headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts and the CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense group is headquartered in Corona, California.
