Waste to energy plant emerging in Mexico

The city of Saltillo, Mexico, is the site of a new waste-to-energy plant that will begin construction in November, 2011. Early in September, a consortium including Eco Energía Renovables, Canromex, Guascor de México, Colibrí Capital, Biogás y Energía, Desarrollo de Proyectos de Energía Renovables, and Desarrollo Ecoambiental de México was awarded the contract for what will initially be a 2MW plant.
