Backers of Northern Gateway pipeline emerge
In a filing with Canada’s National Energy Board, Suncor Energy Inc., Nexen Inc., Cenovus Energy Inc. and Total SA said that they plan to ship oil on Enbridge Inc.’s controversial Northern Gateway pipeline.

NRG Energy, owner of the Montville Station power plant, is pushing ahead with its 4-year-old proposal to partly convert the plant from natural gas and oil to boilers powered by bio-mass fuel, a move the New Jersey-based company said would add nearly 200 jobs to the region's economy.
