ATCO to develop cogeneration project in Mexico

ATCO and its partner Grupo Hermes have been selected by an affiliate of Mexico's state-owned petroleum company Pemex, PMX Cogeneracion, to begin the project development and approval process for a natural gas cogeneration plant at the Miguel Hidalgo refinery near the town of Tula in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico.

Metso’s control valves for chemical installation

Metso delivered more than 70 Neles globe valves for Phase II of the Longyu Coal project in Henan for the production of 400,000 tons of acetic acid and 200,000 tons of ethylene glycol per year. Honeywell’s UOP wins EPC contract for gas plant

UOP, a Honeywell company, announced that PennTex North Louisiana, a subsidiary of PennTex Midstream Partners, has selected UOP to engineer, procure and construct (EPC) a gas processing plant to recover valuable natural gas liquids (NGLs) in northern Louisiana.

Plains All American plans Cushing–Memphis pipeline

Plains All American Pipeline will construct the Diamond Pipeline, a 440mi, 20” crude oil pipeline that will provide capacity of up to 200,000 barrels per day of domestic sweet crude from the Plains Cushing, Oklahoma, terminal to the Valero Memphis Refinery, and the ability to access Valero Energy Partner's Collierville pipeline.

Technip wins contract for Juniper Field

Technip has been awarded a substantial EPIC lump sum contract by BP Trinidad and Tobago for the development of the Juniper project, to be located off the South East coast of Trinidad. The scope of work consists of design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, load out and mechanical completion of 4,300 short ton topsides that can process 590MMSCFD of gas and 6,100 short ton jacket.
