Trian wins seat on Pentair board
Corporate investor Nelson Peltz’s activist investment fund Trian has secured a seat on the board of UK-based industrial group Penetair, global manufacturer of pumps, pipes and valves used in the energy, agriculture, infrastructure and food sectors.

AP Services, a manufacturing company in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, that makes products for the power industry at home and abroad, was recently recognized as a best-in-class company, having received the 2014 USA Material Supplier of the Year award by the Utilities Service Alliance – a cooperative based in Kansas made up of representatives from nuclear energy power plants.
New oil & gas line from Graco
Graco Inc. has launched a new line of chemical injection pumps and flow control equipment that will keep pipelines and wells flowing in difficult conditions.
In addition to pumps, the new product line includes high-tech controllers, durable seals and affordable remote-monitors that track fluid chemicals used to unclog wellheads and pipelines.
