Pentair, a global provider of water flow and energy solutions with a US branch in Minnesota, has announced the launch of the Fence End Row Control, a switch box designed to easily turn on and off up to two valves at the same time.

B&W awarded waste-to-energy contract

Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises Inc. (B&W), headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, recently announced that its subsidiary, Babcock & Wilcox Vølund A/S, has been awarded a contract for more than USD $90 million to design, manufacture and build a waste-to-energy power plant near Haresfield, Gloucestershire, U.K. The project scope includes the plant’s combustion system and air-cooled DynaGrate, piping, valves and air systems, fuel handling equipment, steam boiler island, steam turbine-generator, water treatment system, burners and other plant equipment.

Ham-Let Group Ltd., manufacturers of high tech compression fittings and valves, with operations in North and South America, has signed an agreement to buy 100% of the shares of Jiangsu Xinghe Valve, a connectors and valves company located in Jiangsu Province in China.

Danfoss appoints Head of Sales & Business Dvpmt.

Danfoss, a manufacturer of high pressure valves and pumps, has appointed Miha Kavcic as Head of Sales and Business Development in North America. In this role, Kavcic will be responsible for advancing the company’s business within the heating market, including energy-saving hydronic balancing and control, electric heating, and combined heat and power solutions.

GE Oil & Gas signs CSA with DSLNG

GE Oil & Gas, manufacturer of industrial valves and other solutions to the oil and gas industry, has announced the completion of a Contractual Service Agreement (CSA) with the Asian energy company PT Donggi Senoro LNG (DSLNG).

American multinational chemical corporation, Dow Chemical Co. is in late-stage talks to merge with DuPont Co., which provided solutions in the chemical industry, including valve solutions. This would mark one of the largest deals in the chemical industry to date.
