McJunkin Red Man Holding Corp. (MRC) has appointed James F. Underhill as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer – North America and James E. Braun as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
ME2C names president, COO
Midwest Energy Emissions Corp. ( ME2C) has appointed Alan Kelley as President and Chief Operating Officer effective November 1st. Kelley replaces Richard MacPherson, who will move to the position of senior vice president of Strategic Initiatives and will continue as a member of the company’s Board of Directors.
Biodiesel plant to utilize used vegetable oil
U.S.-based Greenleaf Biofuels is constructing its first biodiesel project, a 10 million gal/yr plant. The plant will utilize waste vegetable oil in a 10 million gallon per year (mgy) biodiesel plant located in New Haven, Connecticut.
Elsenhans: Sunoco’s MVP
Lynn Elsenhans is the first woman to lead a major oil company as CEO of Sunoco. This Forbes magazine Most Powerful Woman earns approximately USD 4.88 million per year. A Rice University graduate with a BA in Applied Science, Elsenhans also attended Harvard Business School for her MBA.
GE acquires
GE Energy has announced that it has acquired Converteam for USD 3.2 billion. As part of the growing trend of electrification in the oil and gas industry, its technologies are used to drive mission critical customer equipment in the production and transportation of hydrocarbons, said GE in the announcement.
