Canada's Enbridge Inc. said recently it would buy Spectra Energy Corp of Houston in an all-stock deal valued at about CAD $37 billion (USD $28 billion) to create the largest North American energy infrastructure company.

Chevron Corporation has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Chevron U.S.A. Inc., has signed a binding LNG Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with ENN LNG Trading Company Limited (ENN) for the delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to China from Chevron’s global supply portfolio.
