Cashco gets new purchasing manager

Cashco, Inc. has announced that Laura Rathbun has been promoted to Purchasing Manager for the company, where she will be responsible for the purchase of raw materials and components used in the manufacturing of the diversified Cashco product lines. A Cashco employee for the past 20 years, Rathbun spent the last 11 years with the company as a buyer before assuming the role of department manager.
“I’m confident that Laura’s long-term experience with the company, particularly as a buyer for more than a decade, will make her a valued leader in the department,” said General Manager, Valve Division, Cashco, Inc., Clint Rogers. “She already has the advantage of knowing many of our vendors, having established a strong working relationship with them over the years. Plus, she understands our goals for quality excellence and knows how quality components play a critical role in that quest.”
In the fall of 2001, Rathbun became a buyer where she worked with suppliers of components like bar stock, springs, seals, fasteners, etc. Today, in her new role, she manages three other buyers and the material secretary.
