Biodiesel plant to utilize used vegetable oil

U.S.-based Greenleaf Biofuels is constructing its first biodiesel project, a 10 million gal/yr plant. The plant will utilize waste vegetable oil in a 10 million gallon per year (mgy) biodiesel plant located in New Haven, Connecticut. The plant will utilize reclaimed and waste vegetable oil from restaurants and food manufacturers for its feedstock and will be sited within the fuel tank storage farm area of New Haven harbor, and area that is a key distribution hub for home heating oil in New Hampshire.
