Bestobell launches HP valve series at LNG 18

Parker Bestobell Marine, a provider of motion and control technologies with operations in North and South America, recently launched a new range of high-pressure Class 2500 cryogenic globe and check valves at the LNG 18 conference and exhibition in Australia. This range represents a step forward for Bestobell Marine, who have never designed or manufactured these types of valves before.

The Bestobell valves have been designed specifically for the liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuel systems for MAN ME-GI dual-fuel two stroke engines developed by MAN Diesel & Turbo. The Bestobell Marine HP cryogenic globe valves is fitted in the pipework downstream of the high pressure pumps and plays a vital part in managing the fuel gas supply to the engine. The valves are designed to stand a maximum pressure of 370 Bar. Bestobell Marine is also developing another range of valves that can operate up to a maximum pressure of 625 Bar.
