Beijing and Inner Mongolia to build plant

Beijing and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region are to jointly build a power plant with an installed capacity of 2.4 million kilowatts in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous region.

According to an agreement signed by the Beijing International Power Development Corporation and the Inner Mongolia Power Group recently, the first phase construction is to absorb USD 578 million of investment. Zhao Fengshan, general manager of the Inner Mongolia Power Group, said the new power plant will be located at Zhenglan Banner, Xilin Gol League in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
