Banagas invites bids for compressor station

The Bahrain National Gas Company, Banagas, has invited contractors to pre qualify for the engineering, procurement and construction contract for a gas compressor station contract at its complex in Sitra. A solicitation of interest has been sent out, and tenders will be issued in January for the compressor which will have a capacity of 65 million cu/ft/day when completed. Expected cost of the project will be USD 250 to USD 350 million. Front End engineering and design will be included within the EPC contract, and the scope of work is expected to include the design of the gas compressor with a gas turbine driver, a series of pipelines, associated gas gathering line, power supply and all connected process equipment and utilities.
