AUMA’s Managing Director retires

On December 31st, 2017, Mr. Matthias Dinse retired as Managing Director of AUMA after being with the company for over 30 years. He will, however, remain a member of the advisory board and will consult with AUMA as necessary. 

Dinse started his career with AUMA in Muellheim, Germany as an assistant to the management team. From 1987 to 1992, Dinse held an executive management position at AUMA Actuators, Inc. (AUMA-USA) before returning to Germany in 1992. In 1994, Dinse received a promotion to management and successor to his father, Rudolf Dinse, who was managing director of AUMA in Muellheim. 

Dr. Jörg Hoffman has accepted the newly established role as CEO, which became effective on January 1, 2018. Mr. Ferdinand Dirnhofer has also been promoted to company’s general management team.
