Fugitive Emissions Summit Americas is returning in 2022 – to a new venue! The must attend event will be held at San Jacinto College’s LyondellBasell Center for Petrochemical, Energy, & Technology (CPET) in Pasadena, TX, on September 28th-29th, 2022.
Pasadena, Texas is located less than 15 minutes from downtown Houston, with borders extending from the Houston Ship Channel to Galveston Bay and Clear Lake. The Houston Ship Channel is home to one of the world’s most influential energy corridors and trade ports in the world.
With the close proximity of the Port of Houston – one of the top container ports in the nation – and the bustling ship channel in the region, Pasadena is a hub for the petrochemical and energy industry. Home to the country’s largest petrochemical manufacturing complex and second largest in the world with 90 industries and 130 plants, Pasadena has seen more than USD$2.5 billion in capital investment in the last few years and boasts a wide range of global energy giants with operations in the region.
The conference and expo will be held at San Jacinto College’s LyondellBasell Center for Petrochemical, Energy, & Technology (CPET). San Jacinto College has served as the training leader for the petrochemical, energy and technology workforce in the greater Houston area for more than 40 years.
San Jacinto College’s USD$60 million LyondellBasell Center for Petrochemical, Energy, & Technology, is benefitting the industry by strengthening training in key petrochemical manufacturing areas. The state-of-the-art facility includes a process training glycol distillation unit, 31 specialized labs that create a real-life representation of chemical, physical and other technical processes in unit operations, 20 classrooms, a control room to operate the glycol distillation unit, and more.
