ASCO introduces 055 Series isolation valves

ASCO, an Emerson company with its US headquarters located in New Jersey, has introduced the 055 Series line of chemically inert PTFE isolation valves for analytical and medical instrument applications that require space-saving components.

The 055 Series is designed for use with highly aggressive fluids. It shields internal components from chemical attack through a PTFE fluidic path. The valves also feature low-wattage solenoid coils with minimal heat generation and thermal transfer to protect valuable samples and reagents.

The new valves are designed to address a wider range of market and OEM needs in terms of orifice sizes and flow rates. The valves are available in 2-way normally closed, 2-way normally open and 3-way universal versions.
