Asahi-America Enhances its 19 SAV Actuator Series with the S-400

The S-400 is the latest model in the 19 SAV On/Off Electric Actuators series from Asahi-America, joining the existing S20, S50, and S110.

The S-400 draws 1.83 Amps (95-265 VAC) (or 4.8 amps (24 VAC/VDC)), offering the highest draw of all the units. Among its many functions, the unit is designed to operate in remote locations with no air supply and colder temperatures.

The corrosion-resistant enclosure is constructed of NEMA 4X PC/PET with stainless steel trim. The S-400 has a weight of 13.23 pounds, offers 3,540 in-lbs of torque, and a cycle time of 25 seconds per 90 degrees.

Select standards on the S-400 include a reversing, brushless DC motor and an OLED screen that displays various valve positions. It also features  open and closed dry contacts rated at 0.1Amp @ 250 VAC and 0.5 Amp @ 30 VDC.
