Arca Vales, which exports products to the United States, has announced its new ECOTROL® DN 700 (28“) valve which will be on display at ACHEMA 2015 from June 15 to 19, 2015. This valve has been specially optimised for use as an anti-surge valve on turbocompressors, but can also be used for all control applications involving liquid and gaseous media.
The valve has a high flow coefficient Kvs, which usually well exceeds the delivery capacity of the turbocompressor. The quantities of gas trapped inside the pipelines and heat exchangers can therefore also be relaxed in a very short space of time upon safety shutdown of the compressor. It also has a face-to-face dimension according to the specifications of EN 558.
