Arca delivers five anti-surge valves to Mexico

Houston-based Arca Flow Controls, the US subsidiary of German valve manufacturer Arca Regler GmbH, has begun the process of delivering several large anti-surge control valves to Mexico.

The valves have been designed for use in several compressor lines in Mexico, two in a pipeline station in La Laguna, Coahuila and another three in Villa de Reyes, San Luis Potosi. The pipelines will deliver natural gas to CFE (Comisión Federal de Electricidad) power stations as well as industry plants.

The anti-surge globe-type control valves come from the Ecotrol® modular parts system. The valves are designed to prevent the compressors from pumping in stressful situations in the plant and to prevent airflow disruption at the compressor blades in order to preclude damages at the compressor.
