AP Services best-in-class

AP Services, a manufacturing company in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, that makes products for the power industry at home and abroad, was recently recognized as a best-in-class company, having received the 2014 USA Material Supplier of the Year award by the Utilities Service Alliance – a cooperative based in Kansas made up of representatives from nuclear energy power plants.
“We make gaskets and packing – anything to do with sealing products for the power industry,” said Vic Firment, inside sales manager. “Our products are used in valves, generators, pumps – any place where a gasket is required to stop a leak.”
AP Services employs 80 people and is a division of Curtiss-Wright, a global engineering corporation that provides services and products to commercial, industrial, power and defence industries.
