Amec Foster Wheeler awarded contract in Chile

Amec Foster Wheeler, an international company with numerous locations in the US, has announced it has been awarded an owner’s engineer contract by GNL Quintero to provide engineering services at the Quintero regasification terminal in Chile.

In a statement, Amec Foster Wheeler claims that it will take part in the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) bid evaluation and provide engineering services. The expansion will involve the construction of a third storage tank, as well as additional equipment to help increase the terminal’s regasification capacity.
