Velan Valves founder, A.K. Velan, and his wife, Olga, recently celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary. They were married on February 22, 1941 in Brno, Czechoslovakia. They came as immigrants to Canada in 1949 with two children. The family has grown to include 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
