Aerodyne Environmental, the industrial dust collection and material handling solutions company, launched the 10″ Vacu-Valve® Trickle Valve System, a low-cost low-maintenance dust collector valve. The Vacu-Valve is a trickle valve that operates as a constant discharge valve for dust collectors, hoppers, cyclones and other equipment operating under negative pressure. The new 10″ size option offers a much larger capacity. Its unique duckbill design allows it to dispense free-flowing material continuously. The Vacu-Valve is available in the open design of the Platypus or the closed design of the Armadillo.
This low-maintenance trickle valve is self-actuating and does not require lubrication, controls or power supply. The Vacu-Valve is offered in carbon steel or stainless steel versions to suit a variety of applications. The Vacu-Valves are typically utilised in industries such as foundries, mining, cement, pharmaceutical, dry foods, plastics, chemical and manufacturing.
