A-T Controls has enhanced its portfolio with the new ASD-5 series, the next generation of positioners that replaces the SS2 and SS5.
The ASD-5 is designed to enhance reliability, simplify installation, and deliver in-depth diagnostics. It brings modern performance and long-term support to applications that previously utilized SS2 and SS5 technology.
According to A-T Controls, the ASD-5 will serve as a primary replacement for most SS2 applications, which require weatherproof or intrinsically safe ratings. For applications that previously used the SS5, the ASD-5 (with Fail-Freeze option) provides fail-in-place functionality.
This transition ensures customers have a clear upgrade path while benefiting from improved technology and standardization.
