Since launching in 2016, the site global.weir has played a crucial role in the company’s success, giving their customers the information they need to make informed decisions on products, brands and services. Two and a half years after the launch of global.weir, the company has decided to give the site a new look and feel.
Working together with their Divisions, they have researched and listened to our customers’ needs, looked at how users interacted with the site and taken feedback on board to give the site a new structure. The biggest change is the introduction of ‘Process’ pages. These pages give users an insight into the products and services Weir can offer at every stage in these very distinct areas before getting touch with the company. These new pages showcase the company’s offering across a whole range of diverse processes and conditions. They have also added contact forms on every process page, enabling users to get in touch with their experts for advice at any time.
The site now also comes with improved search functionality, giving users greater flexibility and choice in finding the information they need in the quickest way possible.
The most obvious change is the refreshed design which has been applied across the site. The company has decided to make imagery more prominent throughout the site, giving every visitor the chance to see their people and products in action and get a better feel for the environments in which Weir operates.
Further updates to the site are planned over the remainder of 2018 as they look to build on the great success of global.weir.
