Valcor Engineering Corporation, a New Jersey-based fluid control solutions company, released a new white paper on Designing Thruster Valves.
“Thrust in Space: The Nuances of Thruster Valve Design” focuses on the applications of thruster valves and how the specifications influence the design.
Valcor partnered with a veteran of the space industry to create a thruster valve for a new reusable space vehicle. For the project, Valcor used its knowledge of thruster valves to fast-track the design and meet the customers’ requirements.
“The design of a thruster valve is no small feat. Many application parameters must be carefully considered before the design process begins,” said Rich Kelly, Senior Project Engineer.
