ROSS CONTROLS M35 Series Receives DGUV Certification

ROSS CONTROLS® is pleased to announce that its M35 Series safety valves have received third-party certification from the DGUV (Deutsche Gesetzliche Unfallversicherung e.V.) German Social Accident Insurance.

M35 Series of safety exhaust valves, with or without EEZ-ON® (soft-start) module, are now DGUV Test certified to Category 4, Performance Level e per the DIN EN ISO 13849-1. Assessment and certification was performed by DGUV Test who is regarded as one of the approved bodies for Machinery and Safety Components according to EC-Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and German Product Safety Act.

The M35 Series control-reliable double valves are designed for external monitoring for safe redundant operation. Available with or without EEZ-ON® (soft start) function, the EEZ-ON® (softstart) module option allows slower build-up of pressure during start-up. LED status light indicators aid troubleshooting signalling power on main solenoids, feedback pressure sensors, and fault/no fault condition.

The M35 Series valves are enhanced with a modular mounting design, allowing assembly with ROSS MD3 or MD4 FRLs for convenient air entry systems. These pneumatic safety valves meet all global requirements for machine safety and are commonly used to exhaust the downstream air, to help meet stop-time requirements in machine guarding.
